I was wondering if anyone knew the birth dates of the four hobbits. I don't have my own copy of LOTR, so I don't currently have access to the appendices.
It would be greatly appreciated!

Merry- Third Age 2982
Pippin- Third Age 2990
Sam- Third Age2980

Frodo, of course, has the same birthday as Bilbo, that's why they always celebrate them together, on September 22nd. Frodo was born in the year 1368, Shire reconing.
I don't remember any of the other Hobbits specific birthdays being mentioned, but I can give you the year of their birth, again in the shire reconing of years.
Peregrin Took, Pippin, was born in 1390, and is a distant cousin of Frodo.
Meriadoc Brandybuck, Merry, was born in 1382, and is also a distant relation to Frodo
Samwise Gamgee was born in 1380, and doesn't seem to be directlyrelated to any of the afore mentioned Hobbits.

Hehe, I have another age question.

Did Tolkien ever tell us how old Rosie Cotton was, in comparison to Sam?

Rosie Cotton was born in 2984.

Sam is 35 at the time of the journey, so that would make Rosie 31.
