Johnny Got His Gun

Hi hi hi there! has anyone out there ever read Johnny Got His Gun by Dalton Trumbo??? It is a terrible horrible book. But in a good way. Ok actually reverse that. It's one of the best books I have ever read. It deals with the war but there isn't much action going on at all except in memories. I won't tell you what happens if you haven't read it but hey if others are going to talk about it it doesn't matter. Anyway, anyone want to comment on it?

I saw the movie; yes, it's very very grim. Don't see it if you're not in the mood to be a little depressed.

yes i know, i saw the videa for One. that's how I heard of it. My dad said something about the movie, and seemed almost disturbed, and i asked my mom and she was like, "oh my gosh, that is a weird book. i cried so hard adn i was traumatized for about a week afterwards. i think you should read it!" but i did and was glad i was. i think everyone who is goig to start, participate in, or promote a war should have to read it. i want to see the movie too though.
