I don't know if this has been a problem for anyone but me, so I thought I would ask.
I have yet to have been able to view the trailer on the official site. I hope it is good, but I wouldn't know. I can only assume that my ongoing computer woes are to blame. Does anyone have any ideas that might make the viewing easier?
Also, is it just me, or does the site have some navigation problems?

Here is what I advise....go tomovie-list.com (http://http://www.movie-list.com/l/lordoftheringstrilogy.shtml) to download the trailer. If you try to download it from the offical site, you will not be able to save it. Don't do the "full screen" one (that is just for cable modems, T1 lines, etc.) or the "high res" one (unless you have 56K). You also must have Quicktime 4....if you don't, it won't matter what source you download it from...it will not work! You can download QT4 here (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/). Once you have downloaded the trailer from movie-list.com you should be able to save it.

Hope that helps and good luck! :)

If you still have problems then your comp is an evil stoopid paperweight just like mine, in which case you should go visit a friend with a better computer and a dsl or cable connection, and make them let you download it there.

Tater, were you ever able to get a copy of it?

Evil stoopid paperweight! By golly I like that. I fully sympathize.
It may have to come to that, a visit to another computer :)

I saw it about 10 times at a friends house and about 50 times at school. Stoopid paperweight!

You could try the RealVideo version availible here www.tolkien-movies.com/me...ntdown.htm (http://www.tolkien-movies.com/media/countdown.htm)
It's right under where it says Download Sites. Personally I have the mpeg saved, which is much bigger and better quality than the RealPlayer one, and much less of a hassle then Quicktime (bleck), but it looks like it's not availible right now.
