Any idea where you could find that song on the net? Can't seem to find it on Napster or anywhere. :( Maybe it's not released yet?

Maybe I'm just plain stoopid, but what does this have to do with Peter's LOTR Movie???

I spent a whole day searching for that powerful tune. But to no avail. The search continues.

Hey Carcharoth, do you run the My Precious site? I love that place, you've made very good use of Flash :)

Thank you Ben. Yep indeedy, I am the webmaster of My Precious. I would also like to say how much I enjoy the Tolkien Trail its a great idea incorporating the places of Middle-Earth as the different sections of the site. Also some excellent addictive games.

Keep up the great work :)

I also have to say that My precious is fantastic! Flash is used in the best way possible in the design there!

I have found a snippet of music from the trailer! However, I'm not sure if it's "Gothic Power" or not. It's the spot where the guy says the Ring verse, and the clip is 42 seconds long, in MP3 format. I've zipped it up and put it on the tolkientrail.com server:
www.tolkientrail.com/onering.zip (http://www.tolkientrail.com/onering.zip)

You'll need an unzip program to get the MP3 out (try winzip.com) and an MP3 player to hear the music (try winamp.com)

That sounds pretty good. The announcer is still in there, but I think that just adds to it.

As to a full copy of it, I've searched on Scour and on Napster and found nothing.

Where did you find that Ben!!!!!!!!!

Napster :)
I was searching for "lord of the rings" as I often do, and someone had an MP3 called "Lord of the Rings - onering.mp3" and I downloaded it. I assumed it would be the ring-verse, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was from the trailer :)

I wonder what one can do to rip the music of an mpeg like that?

Grand Admiral Reese

I didn't find anything related to LotR on Napster. Some on Scour, though.

The only way I can think to get the music off the mpeg is probably to have a program like Adobe Premier(I think that's it). I know you can add music to video that way, but I don't know if it can be taken off with it, though.

one of my friends gave me a program that rips CD tracks & saves them as either WAVs or mp3s - if anyone's interested i'll ZIP it & put it on my webpage

Sure, do that. Mp3 would be preferable.

... I already have one of these... but you still can't grab the audio from a mpeg with a ripper... :(
