I live in New Zealand, were the Lord of the Rings film is being set. Here, it is a big thing, with it constantily being in the Media (TV etc) . I have seen one of the many sets in real life , and have seen 2 more on TV. I know people who are extras in it.

What I'm saying that it is great to see that NZ is geting a little bit of the spotlight!!

Scoop....hmmmm......Well I realy don't know if you get the News Reports that we get....Lets see...we had one report about it snowing on one of the sets........There was an interview with Jackson about Pros and Cons of Filming here.....there's was a big report on one of the sets, I can't remember what it was......

For the economy...well , were the sets are, the buisness is huge, hotels completly booked and whatnot, but unfortinatly, the kiwi dollar is Very low at the moment......

Actually, the Kiwi economy is taking it on the chin, and I can't help but wonder how much of that is due to rising oil prices and how much is due to the influx of so much money to the economy. Inflation is taking its toll on New Zealand, according to the online New Zealand newspapers.
