Pretty much. No one lives in a house with 20 other people. Or goes out with 25 women at once. Or goes to an island full of beautiful women... Oh how I wish that that last one was for real.:D

I actually like Survivor. I thought that it was stupid before I watched it, but once I saw an episode, I was hooked. I can't explain it. That's about the only reality show that I like.

I personally loathe most reality shows (especially Survivor), but I have discovered one I do like-The Amazing Race. Most just seem to be trying to get ratings by pushing the envelope in danger or sexuality. Why not go for ratings through entertainment?

I've watched both Survivor and Amazing Race. I didn't really like either but found them bareable. I see what you mean about the Amazing Race webwizard... it's not so bad. I liked the first survivor but since then they seem to have gone down hill...

Just resurrecting this thread to give the brits a good smack. As if it's not enough that "Survivor when animals attack on fantasy island" is being crammed down our throats, NOW I have to avoid the brits doing it as well. To date, I have stumbled across Brits in Ibizi, Brits in the Villa, and some other garbage I can't remember. Let me just say that I don't think I've ever seen a more horrible spectacle. I take back everything I said about American reality tv being bad. At least they just ham up to the cameras. Brits don't know the meaning of behaving when overseas. I think I have seen more tits, bums, sex and vomiting to last me a life time. And they think I want to watch this crap?! :eek: (Well, I don't mind the odd oogle, but I draw the line at overly made up pasty english women, and pimply, pasty men.)

They're all horrible! The only reality show I ever watched was The Real World: New Orleans season. I liked those people. All the other Real Worlders weren't interesting at all.

I wish they did another season with David, Matt, Kelley, Julie, Jamie, Melissa, and Danny. :(

the real world is not even real they put them up in a proper flash house with a pool table and everything. they should put them in a crappy house like students get then refuse to pay the bills.

I quite like the Osborns but ozzys just a funny guy.

I'm not rabid about it, but I don't care for reality TV shows. The bits I've seen have not encouraged me to watch more. Hubby sometimes watches Survivor or The Mole, but I don't understand why. It seems like an awful lot of aggravation for a chance at some $$$ when you could just go on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and not have to give up months of your own real life. I've been amazed at what depths folks will sink to when they have a chance at some cash.

BoP, I think we get pretty much the same crap here as you. Survivor and The Amazing Race was stupid, I didn't bother watching them. Temptation Island was just for perverts. The quality of TV shows here is terrible. There are a few good dramas and documentaries I watch, but there is mostly tripe. The only reality TV show I think is OK (but I don't watch it much) is The Osbournes. Ozzy is cool and I think Kelly is great (she said she doesn't care if she is fat and she got to meet Elijah Wood :D ).

I love 'em all! Sharon is cute; Ozzy is funny; and Kelly's wobblers are silly. :D Jack is just plain weird though. I woudn't want to be left alone with him.
