I heard a rumor that Beren represents J.R.R. Tolkien and Luthiun represents Edith Tolkien. If thats true, did Tolkien do that with any of his other characters???

I don't think he did it with other characters. He does represent Beren, and Edith represents Luthien. It is written on their headstones. Theirs was a tragic love affair in there youth, as they were kept apart from what I understand. Tolkien fashioned these two characters after his own life with Edith.

No poem. It has her full name, date of birth and death, and then it says "Lúthien". J. R. R. chose it. After he died, his children followed this example, but wrote (naturally) "Beren" on his.

Used to eating people's fingers? I would prefer someone more fun, like Hurin.

I would like to get Eowyn on my tombstone. I would choose Sam, but that wouldn't make sense 'cause I'm a girl.

It would be cool to inscribe writing in an Elvish alphabet and language on a tombstone. Not only would it look neat, but every so often, some random person would come walking by, and suddenly they'd stop, squat down, squint, and demand, "What on earth is *that*?" Talk about leaving a monument that the world will never forget. :p

All I want my tombstone to say is
"She loved much."
