That's funny! Yes, I suppose he's kind of ugly, but it's good ugly! I really like looking at him, in fact I can't get enough. I'm so glad he didn't have one of those cool helmets on in the opening scene so I could admire his good/ugly face. I quit coloring my hair when I saw how wonderful his gray looked. Perfect beauty is somewhat unsatisfying. I love the way Galadriel wore no obvious make-up (fake-up).

I thought that Elrond in the movie was good. It was good to see that even elves aren't always perfect and Arwen-ish. She was the only person who i didn't like.

I DO think Liv Taylor is ugly but it's not in the subject!!! and the elves DO needs to be perfect in their beauty. Elrond is UGLY in the movie.
