The Winter King, Enemy of God and Excalibur: the Novels of Arthur?

I loved them; they capture the period so well. What did anyone else think?

I've read them. ;)

Derfel is one of my favorite characters. Very cool.

But I did think that some of it was gratuitously coarse.

Perhaps, but it served a purpose. The realism is incredible and the 'coarseness' was part of that.

absoutely loved the warlord books............thougt Cornwell gave one of the best interpretations of the merlin i have ever read

Did anyone else think that Derfel..........brilliant as he is.........is Cornwell's interpretation of Sir Bedeviere?
