Could be an interesting project! I`m sure it will be an interesting looking horse! I never could get the legs just right. My horses always look strangely proportioned. Hmmm....What color should we make him? :-)

Good Tater. I was always curious how Tolkien prefered the 'famished' kind of dragon which he refered to as a 'worm' or 'wyrm'. I haven't established what etymology 'wyrm' has, but the shape of the dragon is like a long snake, very skinny and worm-like. (Don't worry - this ain't mine! Just an observation.) <A HREF="http://soar.berkeley.edu/rolozo/"><IMG SRC=http://soar.berkeley.edu/rolozo/graphics/dragon_header.gif></A> I've done pictures for my medeival book but I have no scanner to post them.

Unfortunately (from a cpov) there is no need to submit it to Rolozo, Tater. That big monstrosity of a website, theonering.net, has "acquired" Rolozo Tolkien along with a bunch of other sites... Can't it be stopped?? :P Read: I'm jealous and need to work on my website :D

Dag, THAT's what happened to Rolozo. I don't agree with some of the mods, but some others are a great help, so I'm happy with it. Now you can just lightning down the artist list if you want something. <A HREF="http://soar.berkeley.edu/rolozo/ezpeleta_all.html"><IMG SRC=http://soar.berkeley.edu/rolozo/thumbs_ezpeleta/Glorfindel_cob_caballo.jpg></A> Ezpeleta offers some studies in Elven facial features. French influence aside, I think some of the faces are downright frightening to visualize.

You see them?? I can't. Is it because I posted them, or I messed up, or my browser's just stupid? Do they look about 1000 pixels wide, or are they huge? Anyway, thanks. I made 12 pages of sketches with almost every character I could think of and wanted to draw (84 numbers), and had my brothers guess who they were, to judge if they looked enough like the characters. Someday I'll get a website working where people can take my "quiz"--guess all the characters/things and test their knowledge of LotR characters-- and my drawing skills. So that's why they're numbered! :)
