**These are in no way meant to offend anyone, and ARE NOT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY!!! If you feel offended, or think they're stupid, then don't say you weren't warned!!**

Why does Frodo always come up, just at a happy moment, and say something really, REALLY depressing?

Why does Pippin ask so many questions? ;)

Has Gandalf ever bore GOOD news?

Is Boromir stupid, or is he just stupid?

Is Gollum schizofrenic?

How do you spell schizofrenic?

Why is Denethor a sadistic masochist?

Sam constantly telling Frodo he loves him CAN'T be a good sign...

Did the little leprechaun tell Gollum to burn the chair?

Exactly how old IS Legolas?

Why doesn't Grima legally change his last name?

It's hard to be scared of a villain called Sauron...

Why does Sam carry on conversations with himself?

What's with Hobbits and luggage? -> SACKville BAGgins...

...

Ja! REMEMBER: NOT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY. Ja ne!

"Why does Frodo always come up, just at a happy moment, and say something really, REALLY depressing?"

Must be maniaco-depressive

Why does Pippin ask so many questions? ;)

Don't know, why did you ask? :p

Has Gandalf ever bore GOOD news?

Hum... at least he sometimes brings fireworks...

Is Boromir stupid, or is he just stupid?

Hey, don't talk like that about poor little Boromir!

Is Gollum schizofrenic?

He sure is! :)

How do you spell schizofrenic?

?

Why is Denethor a sadistic masochist?

Ah, That's why he likes bondage!...

Sam constantly telling Frodo he loves him CAN'T be a good sign...

Can't he be gay? Yes, always happy.

Did the little leprechaun tell Gollum to burn the chair?

Don't know about that

Exactly how old IS Legolas?

1256 years 3 months 15 days 3 hours 2 minutes and 12 seconds... actually 15 seconds... heu 18 seconds... anyway

Why doesn't Grima legally change his last name?

Cause he likes it.

It's hard to be scared of a villain called Sauron...

It could be worst... He could be named Clinton :p

Why does Sam carry on conversations with himself?

I dunno but that's sure weird.

What's with Hobbits and luggage? -> SACKville BAGgins...

It's because they are happy campers!

Thank you, thank you one and all!

Lol Shanamir! *^_^*

Another question:

Why do Gandalf's eyebrows stick it out? Is it just for sun protection, or is there a deeper prupose...

*cue Twilight Zone theme*

Ja!

"Why do Gandalf's eyebrows stick it out? Is it just for sun protection, or is there a deeper prupose" - it's because he spent so much time hanging out with Nienna & delivering bad news to Middle-Earthians (Middle-Terrans?) that his eyes have this habit of constantly getting all teary, & it's just worsened when bright light hits them. so in all his wizardly might, he stretched his eyebrows out & froze them that way (yes kids, whay countless stereotype mothers have told you is really true) so his eyes wouldn't be aggravated by light & he wouldn't cry in front of the Dunedain. so it's a little of both.

i see this is going to become the new Anything Post, so here's the next question: are we SURE that Gimli is a male? could (s)he be a female in disguise? elaborate on this. :D

Well, you would think that Gloin knew the sex of his offspring, now wouldn't you? Although, you never know...:D

maybe Gloin's part of the conspiracy... maybe ALL dwarves are... MAYBE IT'S A MIDDLE-EARTH-WIDE COVER-UP, MAN! THEY'RE HIDING THE TRUTH! DWARVES EVERYWHERE ARE INVOLVED! THEY'RE TRYING TO BRAINWASH US INTO THINKING THEY'RE ALL MALE, BUT THEY'RE NOT - THEY'RE NOT! THEY GOT TOLKIEN, THEY CAN GET YOU TOO!

Isn't it in Forgotten Realms where bot dwarf-men and women have beards?! (Or so I've heard.) Is it the same way in Middle-Earth as well!?

It's never stated directly that Dwarf-women have beards, but there is a quote in Appendix A that the women look so much like the men that humans can't tell them apart. This would imply that Dwarven-women have beards...

^ The above is NOT Gimli, but actually Barbara, mother of four. She lost her razor several years ago while defending herself from Orcs-she's never been able to shave since.
Poor Barbara. :(

Gah, um noldo? Have you by any chance made a Frodo icon? Cuz Frodo's my fave...and I quote Another Fan (tm):

"Frodo is god's gift to women!"

oO;;

Um. Yeah.

I'll just go now.

Another question:

If Gollum was once a Hobbit, then is his skin portrayed as green? Is it just those magical skin-colour-changing fish he eats, or something ELSE?!

arynetrek

you know how when pale humans stay out of the sun for a long time (like all winter) they get REALLY pale? the same thing happened to Gollum, but hobbits have green blood (they're very distantly related to Vulcans :) ) so that when his skin became transparent after living without sun for so long that it only appeared as green - it really wasn't.

Well, if the one ring has had this effect on Gollum (i.e making him live for FAR too long for him) Maybe a side effect is making skin green? :)
