Thats quite what I had in mind for my saga about the narmacil as well.. only I will publish it online.. wouldnt be legal to publish it in a book I think.. u'd need the authorisation from the Tolkien family atleast.. (if its tolkien related that is)

Sure thing why not? But what's the score if it gets published? I was going to do something like this myself but the thing that put me off was the legal headaches that would undoubtedly arise if it did get into print.
My advice: be very select about who you get to do this. :D
That said whatever the outcome it'd be fun and very good practice for me......and that's what I RP for! ;)

You could just post it at: FanFiction.Net (http://www.fanfiction.net) It's just like making it a book because everyone that has internet access can read it. Also, there are A LOT of users there to review it. I know, I'm a shameless advertiser! I'M SO ASHAMED!!!

Cool thanks. I just want to do this so I can finally get a story done. I never get any novels done and maybe this will be a way to do that. But anyone who wants to can join as long as they're not going to screw up the story.

I'm in exactly the same situation! I can write RP easily enough but whenever I try to write anything publishable like a novel I get stuck.

It's a matter of plot organization. The more specific and thought out your plot is to begin with, the more likely it is to not get jammed. I speak from experience ;).

Lief, the only succesful RP you ever did was the one, where the thing...and then the stuff....and you....and me....and Bob....with the thing....and somewhere something....yeah....
