How long does a hobbit live for?

I want to no how long does a hobbit live for... i don't no if it said it in any LOTRs books, ar any middle earth books for that fact.... well if you kno plz... tel me... i'm dieing to no!

A hobbit lives for aproximately 100 years, the oldest ever Hobbit recorded was none other than Bilbo Baggins at the age of 131, second being his own grandfather "The Old Took" at the age of 130. Bilbo obviously was helped by the powers of the One Ring. If he had kept the ring, Bilbo would have never aged and would have become a 'Gollum' type person.

I think that Hobbits would live about as long as a person who lived in the country in the Middle Ages would live....about 70-80 years if they were lucky and healthy, maybe 60. So what is the age of a 70 year old hobbit? I dunno what that equals in human years. I think that'd equal to 112-113.

the average hobbit coule expect to live 90+ years.

Lotho Sackvill-baggins lived to 110, and htat was 'a respectable old age'.

I would say that a 100 year old hobbit would be the equivilent to a 70 year old human.

In middle ages general peasant lived about 50-years. 70-80 year olds were so long aged, that there could had been possibility of thinking, that he/she was a witch and that would be not good thing. Even, that witch-hystery started at early 17th century.

Not correct at all. Bilbo and Frodo were both in their 50's when they began their respective journey's, Bilbo in "The Hobbit" and Frodo in "LOTR." They were both fairly young and chipper for Hobbits and not quite on their death beds as would be the case if Hobbits were lucky to live to the age of 60.

As said, Frodo was 50 (exactly, he started the journey after his Birthday), also, it's said in the book that a hobbit enters maturity at the age 35-45 (can't remember exactly), so when they left their ages were equal to 20-30 human years .

It says in tFotR that a hobbit 'comes of age' at 33. If we assume that this is like turning 18 for humans, then the ratio comes to about 1:1.83

Hobbits live for about 100 years. Bilbo was remarkable at 132, he had the ring but he beat the Old Took's record of 131.

i think hobbits live to be in the age bracket of 90-110 on average. bilbo and the old took were truly remarkable.

Didnt Frodo become an adult, aka of age, the same time that Bilbo had his party at the beginning of FOTR? So then a few years later, when Frodo started on his journey, quest, whatever you wanna call it, he was what, 40 maybe? And when it was over I remember Bilbo was a year or so older than Old Took, I'm babbling, but basically I think the age is about 100 or a little older.

Okly dokly. The year of the Party when Bilbo turned 111, Frodo came of age, wich is 33. then when he set off on his quest he was 50 and Bilbo 130, and after the quest he was 51 and bilbo was 131, officaliy the oldest hobbit. So I would guess around 100 to 110.
