Okay, this TV show looks like it'll be a riot. The guy who played Puddy on Seinfeld as the Tick? He's perfect! I think it starts next week. :D

I thought it was ok. Amussing, but not great. And the whole communist thing was a bit offensive.

I didn't like the language or the fact that within the first 10 mintues, there were at least 2 sexual references. The orignal comic book and the cartoon were not like that. I just didn't like it. Maybe it was just my youngen naivity, but I don't recall the Tick being like that. I remember it sillier...which is the idea of the Tick.
I don't know, hopefully it'll improve. I didn't like the communist thing either...

Actually, I'm starting to think that maybe a live action version wasn't such a supreme idea. That guy looked utterly ridiculous in that big blue suit and I'd imagine its not too comfy...;)

I loved it! I was a fan of the cartoon, but I started out as a fan of the comic, long before the cartoon came out. And the live action reminds me very much of the comic. And since it's owned by the folks that made the comic, I expect to see a lot of my favorite characters. Like the ninja, holding up branches and saying "we are a hedge, please move along!" And Paul the Samuri! I can't wait to see Paul the Samuri!!! I do think the show needs tightening, but I think with a little time it's going to be great. I wonder if it throws people off that it isn't quite as silly and innocent as the cartoon, but then, the comic wasn't really meant for young children, and the cartoon was.
