How are they going to disguise Eowyn in ROTK?

Easy. Have a guy take her place until the moment when the flying black thingummy flys onto the horse and then have the actress run or ride into the scene. Or use a voice deepener and then hid the tell tales and you've got it.

Are you really sure you want to. Maybe it is just that I have read it so many times and known it so long I don't really think it's a problem. My recollection from my first reading is that I at least suspected the Dernhelm was Eowyn in my first reading. The description of Him/ner and his/her comment "If you do not then it is for the best." seemed a pretty clear indication. It is somewhat like the other Riders choosing to ignore Merry when they knew he was there and was not supposed to be.

Is she's a good enough actor, she might pull it off, I expect for the Dernhelm scenes the writers would have put in a couple of clues for the observant non-Tolkien fans to guess about. As for her appearance, just wrap her up in armour and nobody will know the difference (Except us fans). Who needs special effects eh?
