When Beleriand was covered in sea, there was still a peak of land that was uncovered, right?
Well, what about Thangorodrim. It was the highest peak in Beleriand, and it couldn't have been all ruined by the fall of Ancalagon the Black, so should't there still be some of the three peaks rising from the water?

More than one patch of land remained. Forlindon and Harlindon were a part of Ossiariand.
There must have been rising and falling all over Beleriand, Tol Morwen certainly was not higher than the Ered Wethrin or Ered Lomin surrounding Hithlum either.

I bet Ancalagon _did_ break Thangorodrim, if there was something else left the Host of Valinor probably took care of it.

I agree with posters above; likely all was cast down and drowned. The Valar was making a point here of crushing Morgoth and his works!
But it´s interesting there is something akin in Akallabeth, when it is said that many of the Exiled Dunedain believed that the summit of Meneltarma did not drown forever but rose again to form an isle.
