Actually, I was the one saying that there'd never be an Elven Lord. I think Ben said at one point that he didn't have stats on the global users. The only way to know for sure would be with a local account; then your number of posts would be in your profile. OTOH if you changed to a local account, you'd be starting all over again. :p

I just looked at your profile. You have 237 posts, but I don't know if they're just on this board. Only you will know that. Almost halfway...

Actually, with User Levels, us admins can see users by their titles and thus their post count range.

Exact posts is a different issue...

This is why we admins debated whether or not to give ranks and title based on post count, because it would become a competition and people would stop caring about quality and care more about quantity

Well, my goal with the titles was to increase the quantity of quality posts :p

To be an Elven Warrior you need 100 posts, and to be an Elven Lord you need 500 posts, at this board alone.

There are currently 13 Elven Warriors: arynetrek, captain Tarpols, Elanor, emilsson, Eruve, etherealunicorn, juntel, Michael Martinez, Niffiwan, noldo, Quickbeam, Shanamir Duntak, and thrawn96.

Of these, captain Tarpols, Elanor, Eruve, and juntel all have over 500 posts on the entire ezboard server, so any of them could theoretically become an Elf Lord at any post now ;) .

I don't think the post counts are accurate. I post on another board under a local account. According to my profile, I have just over 900 posts there, but according to the post count that appears under my user name on the board I have 400 some posts. Same with the admin. there. The board says she has 1400 some posts and she has way more than that.

Bullroarer: If it was working correctly, then if a poster has a local account, it should say the same thing under his/her user name as it does in his/her profile. On this other board where I post, I use a local account and the two numbers aren't the same... According to the post count here, I'm in the 420s. Now if that's the number that determines when and if I ever become an Elf Lord, I have less than 80 to go. :p

Hmm... Eruve, technically I think you already are an Elven Lord, but ezboard just doesn't recognize it. You started posting here in December. I'm not sure, but I estimate that ezboard only started keeping track around February. So all of SD's posts are recorded, and only some of yours are. So... :p

The only part that I had difficulty to translate was the "compagnions d'armes" I didn't know what was compagnion in english. And I honestly tought about keeping it in french. And I know too it's too long, I hoped you could help me choose the best part of it. By the way these are all true Statement about Shanamir. He is really these things. IP, the post counts aren't at all accurate. Compare how many posts it puts under anduin's name, and then the number of posts in her (local user) account. Only about half show up. So I'd guess that all the posts from 1999 and early 2000 don't show up. Thus FM and Eruve probably already passed 500, but it wasn't recorded. Elanor posted the other day and it showed she only had 180 posts. We know she posted a lot in 1999, but it only shows recent posts, I guess. Kind of annoying.
