I did some calculations in my head because I was bored. We have four admins and two mods now (not counting hobbit mods). If this goes by representation over population, we can derive one of the following, from the member count of 359 at the time of this writing:

Each admin/mod is worth 60 users.

OR

Admins are worth twice the number of users as mods; then admins would be worth 72 users and mods 36.

Whatever. Heh, I'm such a brilliant time-waster.

Well as far as I know, the tradition of bolding names comes from the Jedi Council. I think jasman or one of those members started bolding names. And for some weird reason Kyle Katarn always complained when someone bolded his name :p

Ben, can make a thing so that after you post a certain amount of posts you can choose what "status" you want to be? (still having the moderator/admin/world user/local user status under your personal status) Still pertaining the main qualities... like "Elf" for instance, you could give a number of choices to which one fits people's character more. like for instance "Elder Elf, Wise Elf, Smelly Elf, Fat Elf, Dark Elf"

Well, you really only get to choose (correct me if I'm wrong Ben) a custom title if you are a mod or an admin. We also gave out some special ones to people like you and MM. So for the most part, most users are going to have the titles that we choose.

It's technically possible; however it would disrupt the flow of the rankings because you can't move up in rank if you have a title. I can still see what rank you are, but you can't. I would prefer only giving custom titles on request to moderators and Elven Lords.
