If you haven't tried this game before, I suggest you do. It should be mandatory training for all CIA field officers.
Basically, what you do is enter the Gap and try to touch all four walls, then leave the store, without being approached by a single salesperson. It's extremely challenging, and it usually takes several tries to pull it off successfully. In fact, this game has been attempted in vain so often that most employees at the Gap know about it.

The report is in: It's possible! My friends and I were in Harvard square briefly this afternoon, and we decided to try. Splitting up, we went in and managed to all touch the walls and leave without being approached. It must just be the fact that I look so honest. :p

You won't believe this!!
Me and CT tried it, and we reached 3 walls with no difficulty... then we got to the last one and just as we were about to touch it, we noticed a sign: "WET PAINT"
So we were unable to win :p

The Gap where I live is tiny. Anyway, a harder one is Wal-Mart

hehe
girls or guys can try this one:
walk through the cologne or perfume department. try to make it from one end to the other with out being asked to sample perfume/cologne
its challenging, but i think its possible

Yeah... but Wal-Mart has so many more places through which you can sneak.
How about samples at a food market? And I won't even bother mentioning the lingerie department...

Don't you think adidas's sig was a little inappropraite?

Yeah, he's been asked to change it.

Incidentally, adidas is really (if you couldn't tell from the 96) Greg. He could be banned.

Yeah... I mean, "adidas" stands for a whole lot of other things...
"At Dusk I Drink American Soda"
"All Dogs In Denmark Authorize Soliciting"
"Alison Doody Is Done Acting Stupid"
Why can't you be more creative?

Originally it stood for "All day I dream about soccer."
BTW, his case is under review by the admins and mods of this forum. I'm hopeful that a verdict will be passed soon.

Really? Cool. (Re: the real acronym)
So... that's what goes on in the Mod forum all the time.

Ah... cool.
Over on my big board, in our mod forum we have "punctuation threads" where we just talk in punctuation. It's a great filler, and to this day the mod forum has more posts than my advertising forum (a startling feat), though by a narrow margin.

How do you talk in punctuation?
! ? .
IronParrot
03-08-2000, 06:15 AM
Well... it's based on the concept that words don't necessarily count as much as how they are expressed. (Cryptic explanation, I know, but still...

Well, TOR's done it at the Harvard Square one, maybe that ones easy. I'll give it a try.
TOR, if you really want a challenge try the one in Lexington. I bet that one's impossible.
