Check out Entmoot's front page, on various dates I saved it to my hard drive, ranging from six months ago to February. I think it's interesting to see when General Messages had 63 posts in it :p
Benjamin's Tolkien Board on September 25, 1999 (http://www.geocities.com/bmilder.geo/bb92599.html)
Entmoot on November 3rd, 1999, shortly after the new (now current) banner went up (http://www.geocities.com/bmilder.geo/bb11399.html)
Entmoot on January 8th, 2000 (http://www.geocities.com/bmilder.geo/bb1800.html)
Entmoot on February 1st, 2000 (http://www.geocities.com/bmilder.geo/bb2100.html)
You'll probably be most interested in the one from September.
I'll go through my old caches and see if I can find the original color schemes that made the board look awful :p

I thought the number of registered members was the most interesting info. :)

Well... too late :D
Tater, would you happen to have any saved copies of Entmoot before 9/25?

Cool, I found another gem, this one revealing Entmoot's original color scheme :D

There was a bug and I couldn't edit my messages, so I asked Tater to mail me a screenshot of what the board looked like to him, so I could see if he had an edit button (he did). The shot, taken on Tater's computer the day after the board started, shows a theme the board had during its first few days.
Tater seemed under the impression that Ryan6233 was an alias of mine (it wasn't :p ) and when he found out he was wrong, he edited his post and put that he was an idiot. :p
