Your dumbest mistakes at Entmoot

We all make mistakes, even me ;) . What are the worst/funniest errors you've committed here in Fangorn?

Let's see... I suspended Greg/thrawn96 for a few days back in October because he (get this) flamed MerloMo! Not too long afterward I felt like flaming MerloMo tool :p

In January, I thought that the "5 dayz" usernames were MerloMo and accused him of posting using those names, without conducting an investigation in which I could have discovered it was Greg within minutes.

Last month, while IP banning a troublemaker, I accidentally IP banned anduin as well!

What about you? Tater, I know you thought that Ryan6233 and I were the same person at one point ;)

Banning anduin was a classic move... we'll never forget that one.

Big mistakes? Me? I'm sure there's one somewhere...

Most of the mistakes I have made, I have been able to cover up using the ol' delete button.

i've just been here for maybe a week - people have multiple usernames? anyoen i should know about?

also, how do people get the little icons & pics that go with their names? & how do i edit the profile they "wrote" for me? (the one with a lot of blanks in it)

these are stupid questions, but i'm entitled to be an idiot every once in awhile...

To do those things, you need to enter your Control Center. On the main page of Entmoot, hit "My Control Center" link up top. You may need to enter your username and password. Once inside, click on the "personal" tab. Click preferences to change things like your personal pic and icon, and click profile to change your profile.

The dumbest mistake I ever made at Entmoot?

Registering as local useranduin.......
then registering as global useranduin.......
then losing global useranduin.

:p

Weird.....instead of making me an Entling (I made this post as global user anduin--different password and everything...notice my sig and pic is missing), it lists me as Ent, Master of the Forest. I was even able to edit this message (duh :p ).

Even weirder.....as global user anduin, I can't enter into the "admin" control center, but I have the powers of an admin.

Looks like a bug has been uncovered.

It's been around for ages. I have a guy at my board who used to be a local user. He registered under the same name as a global user a while later, and stopped using the local account entirely. I made the global user a moderator... but the "moderator" "(M)" tag appeared beside both his names.
