New policy: greeting new members in the announcement up top

After talking with Anduin and Tater, I've decided to post a greeting to the newest members of Entmoot in the announcement at the top of the board. I hope this will create more of a "personal" feeling and encourage people to return :). What do you think?

Well, SoaH made me a moderator at his board, so I thought I'd return the favor. Ryan was bugging me to promote people anyway :P. When I do need new moderators, I'll probably choose people with knowledge of Tolkien, which kind of excludes you... sorry... :o

Well, I like the greeting idea. I can confirm that seeing one's name in the welcome message at the top of the page is a nice touch. It sure made me feel a lot more at ease when I was new.
