Harold and Maude

I haven't seen it lately (I'm overdue), but it is an excellent film. And Cat Stevens did the soundtrack. It is somewhat bizzare and considered to be a cult film. Btw, those of you into high tech films and special effects, this one is not for you.

Yesterday I had to watch The Apostle for my history class. Why? How does this apply to post-Cold War foreign policy? That is the big question. Hm, it was sort of interesting.

A couple of weeks ago I saw a Chinese movie about a poor boy whose father sends him to school. It was a good story with wonderful images of the surroundings and it made me think a lot about education.

Oh, that reminds me of an amazing movie I saw a while ago. It was also Chinese, with English subtitles, called To Live, and was probably the best I've seen for a few years. I've been trying to find it to rent from somewhere.

To Live. Good film.

Another good chinese movie is Red Sorghum (or Red Sorgo?).

The Musketeer! That was a great movie. The fighting was so acrobatic! I loved it.

I watched a movie recently that I had never heard of before that was pretty good... it wasn't that old but it must not have been that big of a movie. It was The Skulls. It was about this hidden society in ivy league colleges that get the members into high ranks in society... it was pretty interesting to tell you the truth...

this is apart from LotR isnt it???!!!

Well I saw young Frankenstein last night. Mel Brooks is a genius!!! Along with Men in tights!!! hee hee!

The most recent cinema film apart from LotR was Crossroads. Not abd. Better than i thought it would be but average.

There is no way in heck that anyone would be able to drag me along to see Crossroads! All together now: blech.

Good movies? I saw Hurricane the other day, on sky. Makes me wonder why Denzel Washington wasn't nominated for that, but got an oscar for training day....

And pretty much anything by the Coen bros is good (Not O Brother Where Art Thou, though). And I saw blade runner again, recently, Ah! That was a good movie....

How can you judge a movie before going to see it? That is just wrong. Rosie lass and i though it was going to be awful and such a pr stunt as well but it isnt that bad. But i suppose some narrow minded people wouldnt see that!;)

Rat race is really funny!!! hee hee!

I'm thinking of going to see Bend it like Beckham and About a boy soon. Any of you seen them yet (they've already been released in USA havent they?)

I love the princess diaries! Its so good. Ive always liked Bring it on. But dont think i just like teen movies. I like x files movie. And if i want to laugh hystericaly at how bad at writing you can get, i watch the Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie.

Stargate is good too though! so many good movies!!!

Have i mentioned Moulin Rouge??? If anyone knows that movie then you might find this interesting:

You know the bohemian actor guys that Christian gets involved with? Well you know Audrey the writer who leaves because they all think Christian should co write the play? He is David Wenham. The next Faramir. Beleive me you can get quite funny images of a guy who wears a short black haired bob wig and a heck of a lot of make up can actually play Faramir!

Please tell me that Labarynth isnt that movie with the girl where her baby brothe is kidnapped by a weird guy and she has a load of weird animal friends to go search for him???

Please!!! Because that is the WORST movie I have EVER EVER seen!

I get your point about the britney thing. I mean to go see a beautiful mind sometime. Is it good? The only thing that i dont like is Russel Crow. He sounds really mean but then again we go to see his acting not his personality.

I saw Guys and Dolls last week.
Fabulous movie. (I didn't know Marlon Brando was so good looking way back when!)
But I can tell you this...that is *not* him singing "Luck Be a Lady" ;) But it was a great movie.

What can I say? I'm a musical freak.

A couple of other good movies:

I liked First Knight w/ Sean Connery and Richard Gere.

A movie I REALLY recommend is The Secret of Roan Inish. It is based on a book called The Secret of Ron Mor Skerry, which I haven't read yet.

If you really want to see a GOOD King Arthur movie, hire or buy John Boorman's Excalibur. It's excellent.

It is! If you weren't allowed then, you simply GOT to see it now.

Where did you get your name? *ducks flying tomatoes* I'm sorry! I had to ask! ;)

I saw Chain Reaction with Keanu Reeves and Morgan Freeman the other night. It's a really cool movie! The special effects were great, not overdone, but enough to make the movie a real on-the-edge-of-your-seat type.

I invented my name. I used it in a book I wrote. IT was the main character a half wolf half greyhound. I liked the name so much I use it as my computar nick name.

"Galloping down the road in the night. Not a famouse knight , or king or queen , but Sicirus the weary wolf at flight."
