Has anyone read this great book? I have it, and I think that it is definately one of the best (along with LOTR) books I have ever read.
All of the reviews that I have seen about this book either say that it plain-sucks, or that it's an extremely well-written piece of literature. There are very few in-betweens.
Although some have argued that this books sucks because it "has no plot" and is about a creature "no smarter than a house cat", I'll argue that perhaps the plot wasn't so apperent because this book is basically a life-story of an Utahraptor. Life doesn't really have a plot. And house cats are considered fairly smart as far as most animals go.

So... has anyone read this book and would like to express what they think of it?

Yeah, I've read it, and I really liked it! :) I loved how it seemed to be thought the way a creature which was intelligent, but not on the level of a human would think. It got a lot of little details exactly right, as far as I have learned about the topic.
