It will come to Norway mid-June, so I haven't had a chance to see it yet.
I think I will - especially if I can see it with friends who are interested in discussing it.

Not seen it yet. Reviews seem to be suggesting it's a decent enough effort, as a biopic. I'm wondering how they work the Middle-Earth visions that feature in the trailers. Not a great student of JRRT's letters, but clearly much of the desolate vision of Mordor etc came from his experience in WW1, and perhaps Frodo and Sam's relationship from the officer-batman relationship.

I am probably not going to see it, unles they show it on TV somewhere.

I'm not fan of biopics since they're usually 'livened up' to be more entertaining and thus not very truthful. And apart from the War-experience, Tolkien's life was not all that exciting except philologically.
