Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2

Just saw this yesterday. Anybody else here see it yet?

Won't comment on the movie yet. But... since I grew up in the same era, the songs always sound great to me! :)

I've seen part 1 on Netflix and though I seriously had to get into the story (I'd never heard of it before), I liked it. We were going to watch part 2, but I don't think my husband would have liked it without having seen part 1 and Netflix took that down, so... It's all Netflix' fault ;)

I had forgotten a lot of the story from the first one. Fortunately, it's been on TV a lot lately, so I picked it up that way. They frequently do that here - show previous movies on TV just before a sequel comes out.

They used to do that here as well, but there are so many films coming out these days... plus: Marvel isn't a very big thing here. Not like in the US. So these type of films are generally restricted to a certain small crowd. Now if it were a new Indiana Jones, or LotR film they would. Even Star Wars is not shown here very often. Too sci-fi.
