Born Of Hope

I have to say I find the short fan film Born Of Hope (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4l97GiM--jY) One of the better Middle Earth films. It doesn't pretend to be anything more than a fanfic film, with the producer Kate Madison inserting herself into the cast. I find myself cuing this up before I dig out my dust-covered EEDVDs of the PJ fanfics.

I share that opinion. I haven't watched Born Of Hope for a while now, but I watched it more than once when it was new (and I received the newsletters while they were working on it). It's worth watching again.

Oh, so it did get finished? That's nice.

I remember there was a lot of talk way back when it was in production if it was going to be allowed or blocked since they didn't have any rights to the material.

They were first hoping that they might make it available for downloading, but that was not allowed in the end. But they were allowed to make available for streaming - and available on YouTube, apparently.
