Okay, this might sound really stupid, but okay... Does Manwë ever descend Taniquetil? To visit (or something like that) the Elves in Tirion/Alqualondë? Or to go to Lorien or Mandos?
Because I find it a very weird idea that he just stays on the mountain ALL THE TIME, haha. :')

It's been such a long while since I last read the Silmarillion but I seem to recall that there was a meeting place of the Valar; a sort of hill where they conducted periodic meetings and where the Elves danced and made merry before them. The name doesn't occur to me at the moment and I'm too lazy to grab my copy of the Silmarillion. But I seem to remember that Manwe attended these meetings.
Even if he didn't, staying up on a mountain can't be all that boring when you're the Lord of all Arda :)

Oh, that place! But for the moment, I can't really recall the name, like you, haha. :')
There you have a point. ;) Being King of Arda is not such an easy job, I think.

Manwë did indeed leave the mountain many times. One time that springs to mind is when he comes to talk with Yavanna about Ents and Eagles, after taking counsel with Eru and having the vision renewed.

All the Valar met in council in the ring of doom, called by the better name Máhanaxar, so Manwë must have left Taniquetil for at least council. He was also present on feast days.
