Ridley Scott, of "Blade Runner" "Alien" and "Gladiator" fame (and "Kingdom of Heaven" infame) is supposed to be doing a 3D version of Joe Haldeman's "The Forever War" - soldiers fighting mysterious Aliens while hundreds of years pass on Earth due to relativistic time distortions; "Brave New World"; and a mini-series of Phillip K. Dick's "The Man in the High Castle" with the BBC.
