The Mandie series

I know these are childrens books,but I love childrens books.
Has anyone here ever read the Mandie books or at least heard of them?
A movie is suppose to be coming out this year.:):D;)

Sorry, haven't heard of them. Who is the author? I like children's books, too, and would like to look for them in the library.

The author is Lios Gladys Leppard, she actually died last year:(

I'm on the 20 somthing in the mandie series, but there are still a lot more. And they've gotten really good, especially one of the last ones I read.

I saw the movie recently and I thought they did a pretty shabby job on it, I think they could've done a better job.

They are already making the 2nd Mandie movie I hope they do better on this one:)
