Will Duel of the Fates be in Episodes II or III?

While it would be nice, I don't think that it will. It served its purpose as the "theme song" of TPM and doesn't need to be repeated. On the other hand, other themes were repeated throughout the entire Classic Trilogy. DotF could be for the Prequels what the Force theme was for the CT. Still, I think DotF was engineered specifically for the Maul-Jinn-Kenobi fight so any other occurrances would be weird.

I think it might pop up a few times, but I hope that it isn't used too much. It was a great cue, but I'm sure that John Williams will come up with something even more brilliant for the next two prequels.

I think so, actually I hope so :). What I´d like to see are more variations on it. I think there is a lot more to Duel of the Fates than just being written for the duel in TPM. I remember John Williams saying it is describing a force, like destiny, and that´s what I think the prequels ( and ep 4 - 6 ) are about. Thus I reason Duel of the Fates should have a place in the next movies.

maybe the theme will appear again (like the Star Wars theme during the whole saga). John Williams said that the music in TPM created new references to music in the next movies, so it's possible that it will appear in the next episodes

I liked it--it had that special StarWarsishness about it. Also the Gungan celebration song.

I hope it comes back also, it has a certain nostalgia for me already. It is interesting that on the CD it is listed second, when the rest of the CD is in order of the movie. Could this hold any significance?

I think they just put the concert versions before the pieces that are taken directly from the movie. They did the same thing on each second CD of the SE soundtracks.

Then again, the Throne Room, Cantina Band, and other themes were used only in ANH.

Yes, but those were just quick cues, while Duel of the Fates is has more depth to it. I don't think we've seen the last of it.
