Does anyone else here like Dickens? I'm re-reading Bleak House, and the man just has a way with phrases and with using inanimate things to illustrate a person. I just finished re-reading Nicholas Nickleby and The Pickwick Papers, too, but Bleak House has always been one of my favorites.

I think I'll start just posting some of those good phrases as I go along, and anyone else please feel free to join in!

oh i love that book its one of my fav's! ive only just started reading his books but so far bleak house is my fav!
i love the way he makes richard go from a young man ful of life to an bitter man made old before his time. I also liked mr george and miss flight and her birds the best. Love, hope, misery, dispair, death! she one weird lady! and all before of a court case that comes to nothing!

They acted out parts of this book in the place where I go to school. It's an annual event, but this year people had to line up to be allowed to go into the city. Very famous.
Try googling for 'Deventer AND Dickens'.
