Okay on the world premiere of the Return of the King in Oslo
I was lucky enough to be there and guess who sat next to me
during the entire movie? And I have his autograph:rolleyes:

That's great! I wasn't there, but I know that they made it into a very big do, with Viggo Mortensen being present and perhaps someone else from the cast as well. So a Tolkien descendant was there, too? I didn't know that. Good for you!

Do you know whether he liked the movie? That might be more of something he would want to keep a secret, perhaps ...

Hehe yeah it was a great show. I was seated pretty up high in the Spectrum too so we got a really good view of it all:)

Ok here's how it went.
I'm sitting there with my friend and his family and we're just waiting for the show to start. So right before it begins Royd Tolkien and his warden for the evening (a woman who probably worked in the Spektrum, I don't know, she was like his bodyguardish thing without the bodyguard lol did that make sense?) come and sit down.

So between me and Royd sits the woman bodyguard, and I see that she has a security badge and realize ooo who is that guy then?

So I ask her and she tells me and I'm like wow.

I then lean over and ask him for his autograph.

While I got it I asked him what he thought, and he told me he had a small part in the last movie. He's a soldier of Gondor (cool!)
(He's only in his mid-30s I think). I don't know what part of it, but it's supposed to be during the Minas Tirith fighting.

So I would presume he likes the movies:rolleyes:;)

Cool indeed!
If he joined the cast, he can't be against the movies on principle. Let's hope he liked the result as well :)

Nice! When I read your first post I was thinking: "Okay, why does he know what the great-grandson of Tolkien looks like?" but you cleared that up for me later ;)

I think I wouldn't even recognize Viggo Mortensen or whomever... >_<

Do you still have that autograph?

He looks very different without his Aragorn whig ;)

Oh, I really wouldn't know. I think I might not even recognize my own Queen if she were standing next to me.
Okay, so that's a little bit of an exaggeration, but I'm not very perceptive ;)
I'm always surprised when others are.

Andreas, that really is cool ^_^
