I did a quick search, but couldn't find a thread on this..

There are lots of entertaining, and occasionally informative, quizzes online. They're perfect when you're really supposed to do something else.. And, to be honest, it might be good to take a break every now and then.

So I'll stop babbling, and post some links to a few online quizzes I occasionally (but very seldom, of course) entertain myself with.

The Torso game (http://www.sgu.edu/medfacts) is where you can test your medical knowledge!
The Impossible Quiz (http://www.arcadecabin.com/play/the_impossible_quiz.html) eats your time. It might take a while to load if your connection is slow.
Free Rice (http://www.freerice.com/) you've probably heard about: test your knowledge and donate rice to help end world hunger - now that's a good excuse!
Bavarian birds (http://www.computerbirding.com/what/cbirding_e.html) is a game for those interested in birds.. *looks at sudden lack of interest* Come on, people!;) (unfortunately/fortunately, this is only on European birds..)

So, now it's your turn to share your favourite quizzes with other people who also have better things to do.

:)

The torso game wouldn't load for me, probably should try again in a different browser.

I totally sucked on the bavarian bird-quiz, even at the beginner's level.

hehe, glad people like the thread (and are getting addicted..;)!

yup, the impossible quizzes are just.. impossible. X) the birds aren't that easy either, especially if you can't do it in your own language: fortunately, though, they have it in swedish. :D

keep 'em coming!

I'm doing pretty good on those history tests. Must have picked up more during class then I thought I had. Never knew Chastlemagne lived that early though. I thought he was a figure of the 1400's or so.

I always panic on timed quizzes. Did manage to get to 19, despite guessing a few things and not being very well-versed in things concering the USA.

According to the test, I'm "smarter than the average bear", oh yes, high praise! :D

Yay, I'm smart. It is tough trying to do a timed quiz, think AND having a conversation at the same time...
