There are so many good movies I can't wait until they come out so I can see them. I guess the main one for me is "Tranformers."Oh, my, god. Original voice of Optimus Prime too. Here is a link to the trailer below.

Another one is a documentary called "America: Freedom To Fascism." From the trailer I know I have got to see this, here is a link for the trailer below:

I keep hearing how horrible it is, but A) I don't put too much stock in what others say, and B) I can't believe Shyamalan screwed up that bad without seeing it.
I want to see it, but I don't have a car, so I can only hope. But I wanted to see Omen too, and that didn't happen...

I'll try. I still haven't seen it, and am starting to worry it won't come to my puny, home-town theater.
I want to see A Good Year... It doesn't really look like a 'theater movie' (lots of special effects, etc.), but I do want to see it.
Talladega(sp?) Nights:The Ballad of Ricky Bobby and Accepted...have to...not my choice...i just HAVE to see them... ;)
i just saw talladega nights last night.
it was pretty freakin sweet. Alot of my friends said that it was better than anchor man but i'd say that they're about equal in my opinion.

Amen to all of those. :D
I agree with Rosie in wanting to see A Good Year. I hear it's really good plus I love Ridley Scott.
I also want to see The Departed. It looks really intense, but then again, I guess that's what I should expect from Martin Scorsese.
Flags of our Fathers looks to be really good, also. Clint Eastwood is proving to be quite the director.
Rescue Dawn is gonna be sweet, I'm sure. Werner Herzog never disappoints.
Wow, I'm really glad I wrote this. I had no idea how many movies I actually was looking forward to seeing. I thought this year was going to suck for movies!
Oh, The Fountain looks cool. It will quite possibly not be so cool, but I can't help but want to see it. I'm just such a softy for that stuff.

Whats The Fountain about? I haven't heard anything about that one yet...

I'm not exactly sure what it's about, actually, besides the fact that it's a romance and there are some fantasy elements to it which include the Tree of Life, though I'm not sure in what context these elements appear in the film. Here's it's general write up from Yahoo Movies.
Three parallel stories--about love, death, spirituality, and the fragility of existence--as told through the odyssey taken on by one man in his thousand-year struggle to save the woman he loves. His epic journey begins in 16th-century Spain, where, as conquistador Tomas Creo, he commences his search for the 'Tree of Life', the legendary entity believed to grant eternal life to those who drink of its sap. As modern-day scientist Tommy Creo, he desperately struggles to find a cure for the cancer that is killing his beloved wife Isabel. Traveling through deep space as a 26th-century astronaut, Tom begins to grasp the mysteries of life that have consumed him for more than a century.
Sounds trippy, neh? I really want to see it. As I said, it could be crap, but it sounds far to interesting to ignore.
You can find a trailer for it at the MovieBox.net, which I posted a link to in my last post.

Night Shyamalan fan; I am really lovin his "high artistic" approach even though that did work too well with the movie The Village with some people, I still found fairly entertaining.
Nautipus, that jumper does sound and look good. Mari, trust me, missing star trek nemesis wasn't missing much believe me; they should have kept the deleted scenes with wesley Crusher returning as an engineer on rikers new ship in there.

It was indeed. Really great book, love it (though not like the Brideshead Revisited cultees do :p), and the miniseries was also great. Very true to the book, and with a good enough budget to make it good enough to stand alone (unlike your average BBC miniseries!). It really helped to personify a lot of the characters. John Gielgud had a subtle but absolutely brilliant interpretation of Charles' father, whoever played Antoine really brought the character to life magnificently, etc.

Definately Twilight. Hopefully on opening day. :D
This does look interest, though I had my fill of zombies and vampires, for awhile at least. The last good vampire movie I saw was interview with a vampire.

Let the Right One In looks like a more interesting take on a similar subject.

The proposal (http://www.apple.com/trailers/touchstone/theproposal/large.html) is a movie I think I will go see. I really don't go for comedy (can you tell?) but I do watch a good one from time to time. Plus, I am a Sandra Bullock fan, some people hate her. I think she is so so funny.

I do like them both though. Left to myself I would probably end up watching it on DVD too but, it's a chick flick. I most likely will be dragged along but with the proposal, the dragging won't be that difficult.

I want to see Defiance. The story sounds very interesting, and I'd like to see Craig play another role besides Bond...

Sorry, I know you meant "ditto." But I couldn't resist;). Dido was the queen of Carthage who fell in love with Aeneas, who went to found Rome.

Don't know whether you did see it, but I had to go for a class I'm taking and I thought it was really well done. The landscapes used were breathtaking and the music was gorgeous, as well.
As for what I'll be seeing in cinemas soon... WATCHMEN! Along with every other comic geek in the world. Hopefully, I'll be going to see it on Sunday. SO EXCITED!

Well the only one of those I have not heard about is "New Moon" I should find a trailer or rather, it would have been nice if you did. I like all your other pics, so I am betting I will like that one too.

Next year I'm going to go see: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and Avatar the last Airbender.:)

I think this is just the teaser trailer. It's going to be close to the book, but I can see he's gonna **** some of it up.

I dont hold my breath for movie adaptations anymore.;)
Saw Paranormal Activity the other night. O.o Scared the Bejeezus out of me.
Also saw (I'm almost ashamed to admit) Monsters vs Aliens. Quite funny, really, very likeable characters.

Isn't Scorsese's adaptation of Silence supposed to be 2010? If so, that's definitely on the list.

Yeah. It's supposed to be based on a mystery novel, too. Unusual I suppose for Scorsese.
But man, this year is LOADED with blockbuster movies. I suppose I should be ashamed to want to watch them all...but somehow I'm not :).

There has just been an event where several Christian leaders - and leaders for two of the biggest Narnia fan sites - were invited to be told more about the movie and see a few clips (including some very unfinished ones).
Their reports are very encouraging - it seems the moviemakers are seeing some of the mistakes they made with Prince Caspian and wish to avoid them this time.
They report that a couple of what many of the purists see as crucial moments, follow the book, which is what makes me most hopeful for this movie.
There are some changes and additions as well, but the reports were happy with what they had seen, so there's reason to hope that the changes won't be too detrimental.
Christianity Today (http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/movies/news/2010/willdawntreaderfloat.html) posted a very positive review - sharing some major spoilers, possibly more than they should have (about some of the changes). They also praise the treatment of one of the crucial moments:
Flaherty (president of Walden Media) told CT, "This book is the most theological of them all. There are more complex themes, particularly grace, that aren't easy to get right [in a movie]. We must've spent an entire day talking about grace, and the importance of showing that it can't be earned; it has to be given. This is something that Eustace can't do on his own; he has to ask Aslan to do it for him. I think it's a really powerful illustration of grace."
NarniaFans (http://www.narniafans.com/archives/8266) and NarniaWeb (http://www.narniaweb.com/2010/02/the-first-dawn-treader-footage/) also have posted reports.
I am more hopeful for the movie than I was before I read these reports :)

Varnafinde,
Yes! I was very encouraged by the fact that Eustace WILL be undragoned by Aslan ripping his dragon skin off.
That's a huge deal. I imagine Gresham had to put his foot down on that one, as he did for the Father Christmas scene in LWW.
