It doesn't really...we're all peace-loving here, but just for the sake of it, Sun-star seems like she would make the perfect mod for this place.
Perhaps we could raise enough voice for Bmilder to appoint her? (if she wanted to that is).

Hector, it's so nice of you to suggest that! :) This forum seems to have managed fine without a mod so far so I don't know how much support you'll get for the idea, but I'm flattered anyway. Thanks :)

does this forum need an appointed Mod?
Why? Are you planning on being a bad boy, hector? :p
While there's no actual forum mod for the C.S. Lewis forum the supermods and admins keep an eye on it. And since it doesn't have much traffic, we haven't run into any problem here yet with the current system.
So no mod needed yet IMO, although I'm sure you'd be a fine one for the job, sun-star. :)

exactly, she would. It has nothing to do with me "bieng a bad boy". ;) ...though it has a slight bit to do with my legacy as president :D . (SGH and Bmilder already deny me credit for suggesting Tessar and Valandil as moderators...but I did, I was the one who spotted their talent.)

*bumpety* :) , as you may know; there is in fact a basis for having a mod here...there are several "Space trilogy" threads already. We definitely need a mod.
Vote for Sun-Star!

Yes, well, if you're going to name it Space trilogy and another thread Cosmic trilogy just to confuse the mods...

Why are you blaming me? I didn't start either of those...that's why I'm saying, we need a mod who understands the language use of CSLology ;)

For five measly active threads? Poor sun-star would bore herself to death.

Five measly? I just brought up four. It's only five if you "view" for "newest in the month".

aye ... we need an independent mod ... one who will bow to no man! - nay, nor woman neither (no matter how nice her eyes might be ... :p )

I wasn't aware you were a CSL specialist :p ;) ...but you should help me get this lazy Earniel convinced, and in turn, she will whisper in SGH's ear...
Reasons We Need A Mod Here:
1) We want one
2) it looks extremly unprofessional, and untidy to have a "gap", a place with no official Moderator.
3) Sun-Star is a CSL specialist, and she is very friendly and responsible and nice and not to mention very very very beautiful. This alone qualifies her.
4) An active mod makes an active forum.
5) We need one
6) If we don't get one, you'll have a revolution on your hands that even you can't handle....

2) Sweetie, except for GM and the Writer's Workshop, none of the non-Tolkien forum have a specific mod. It's not unprofessional, it just is.
3) No argument there.
4) Hah! In your dreams!
5) You don't.
6) Bring it on, buster! :p Make my day and try. *polishes the big bad banning button for immediate use*

And besides, the whole thing would backfire on you anyway. Think about it, do you honestly think people will think better of you for ditching more mods on them?

What does that have to do with anything? The C.S. Lewis forum is part of the Other Topics, not the Tolkien section, end of story.

I think the c.s lewis forum needs a strong group of people willing to fight for what the moot needs but not one that will become rebellious for that has happened before so i say we vote for a leader for this group that will not become rebellious but will fight for what the moot needs.

Fight for what the 'moot needs?
That's an interesting line of thought. :D
In my experience, the only real modding that goes on here has to do with keeping things in a PG-13 mindset, and it only takes two to three people to do that for the entire board.
There's also a bit of thread-splitting and topic moving, but that's far from essential.
What exactly would a "C.S. Lewis" mod have left to do?
