On vacation? Did we drive her crazy? Does anybody know?
Lotesse

No man, don't freak out! She's always around. She doesn't technically "moot" like the rest of us do, not anymore really lately but TRUST me, she is around. The moment you try and sneak in a flame-lette or a few too many covert swear words, she'll be there, wielding the keys to EntJail. PM her; she'll respond! I know for a certainty that Sister Golden Hair's around. I think she reads and watches a lot more of these threads and posts than one would be led to believe... :D
well, I think we did drive her crazy :o but I think she's still around :)
I know how to get her out of hiding ...
*innocent look* Hey, the only guy in Tolkien's works worse than Thingol is that Finrod guy! :D ;)

She is still around. Last post was Feb 26th and last activity Feb 28th.
Other staff members have been gone for much much longer periods of time. FM recently has been gone. While since IronParrot stopped by. bmilder shows up once in a blue moon. Anduin hasn't been on in years :P

Yep, I'm around guys. Just watching you, like Lotessa said, waiting for you to slip up. :D
Actually, I haven't posted much except in the Sil forum lately, but I'm on and off the board almost every day. You haven't driven me crazy yet. :D
Oh, and Rian, you are in soooo much trouble. ;)
we haven't driven you crazy yet? Then we'll have to try harder... um, I mean OH, I'm SO glad to hear that!
(just please de-splinter your Stick of Wrath before bopping me with it... )

Actually, Lotesse has been collecting the splinters ... she currently now owns a 51% majority share.
SGH and lotesse are currently negotiating a lease-back rate scheme.
(wierd but true) :D :p

Wait a minute, what's been going on that SGH has actually splintered her Stick of Wrath enough that Lotesse can collect them!?
Do we not see her posting because she's beating up Mooters in a hidden forum somewhere? You know, there's a few members I haven't seen in a while...
;) :D

hey, the more she hits you guys with the SoW, the less splinters for me. SGH will be needing a New Stick of Wrath before long ;)

Meh, I'd rather be sliced in half than bludgeoned to death anyways.
Gwaimir Windgem

I doubt the blade is long enough for that. I imagine it's just a couple inches, y'know, to make the bludgeoning hurt more.

I doubt the blade is long enough for that. I imagine it's just a couple inches, y'know, to make the bludgeoning hurt more.Wrong! It's actually quite long. It is a cane with a decorative handle. The cane itself is actually the sheath, pull it out, and it's a sword. QAL got it for me for Christmas a couple of years ago. She was shopping and saw all the swords from the LotRs movies, but they were a bit costly, and then she saw the cane and thought it was cool and more reasonably priced. She even wrote on the box when she gave it to me: "Your new Stick of Wrath". :)
If I ever become a mod, I plan to use my Rubber Chicken of Doom, so dibs on that!
We should start a new thread - "Moderators and Their Moderating Weapons of Choice"

But you have to suit up in armour first, and that's such a bother. :p

I don't know about Ohio, but I do know about many other states laws concerning a cane sword; and it is unlawful to have one in public. So all we have to do is stay out of SGH's house. :D

Mine is the "Inflatable Hammer of Boinging"! :pI'm not entirely sure what to make of that. :D
Maybe mine would be the Staff O'Locaucus.
Maybe that actually isn't funny. I already have a Spoon of Wrath from the Cafe. Hectorberlioz gave it to me. ;)
Speaking of the cafe, aren't you late for your shift Tessar? :D

I don't think that applies to only guns, but you have to take those CCW classes and get a CCW permit.

Well, usually if you have a CCP you can carry any weapon unless the CCP is only for a hand gun.
In Ohio Students go by the following law:
No student should knowingly possess, handle, or transmit dangerous weapons or objects which look like weapons including, but not limited to a knife, razor, cutting instrument, ice pick, explosive, leading cane, sword cane, machete, pistol, rifle, shotgun, pellet gun, BB gun, firearm or other destructive device (as defined in 18 U.S.C.A. Section 921-924), incendiary, poisonous or noxious gas, an instrument which launches projectiles or other dangerous substances, laser pointer, or other object that could be used as a weapon or is represented as a weapon or dangerous instrument or resembles a dangerous instrument; This includes ammunition. No student shall discharge any firearm, explosive or other disruptive device
Ohio Criminal Law states:
§ 2923.11. Definitions
(A) "Deadly weapon" means any instrument, device, or thing capable of inflicting death, and designed or specially adapted for use as a weapon, or possessed, carried, or used as a weapon.
.........
Personally, I'd check, discreetly about that.
P.S. I have a C.C.P.

Well "How to Annoy People" had some really great sketches too, but I found "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" rather...lame. It had it's moments, but I was dissapointed vastly.

HG is certainly NOT lame.
"What do you burn apart from witches?"
"MORE witches!"
:D
But seriously, Holy Grail isn't the Python's best work. Look up the Flying Circus; 'tis their true opus.
EDIT: Have you read the Declaration of Revocation (http://www.stephaniemiller.com/declarationofrevocation.htm)? High-larious. :D
