The Naarlaantral, high above Tatooine's atmosphere. An annoying "sign" that won't go away says "Holodisc Trainer."

The son of a Murglak Imp Colonel who stole all the money from my other, recently deleted (because of him!) character.

Still travelling upriver.

A marvellous view of the planet Tatooine, two freighters (top center and again upper left quarter) and Tatooine Space Station (dead center, with part of my viewport braces blocking part of it), looking "up" from inside my Scyk Fighter.

Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes, playing in the Mos Eisley Cantina.

An Eopie, also tied up outside the Lucky Despot.

A Twi'Lek dancer in the Cantina.

A night view, with a Ronto on the left (the large animal thing), the Bazaar straight ahead on the ground, and the night sky, filled with stars and on contrast two Star Destroyers.

And best of all, a very confusing view of my new character, an Ithorian (or "Hammerhead") entertainer, with my brand new stupid-looking hat on my head and my Steel Fizz in my hand.
And there are more, but I appear to be missing a great deal of the pictures I thought I uploaded to Photobucket.

What is this game like TB? It seems interesting but i have not found anything to be very informative on what it is exactlly like. Is it similar to a MMORPG? Is it online at all?

For certain definitions of the term, maybe. It's online, but as far as being massively multiplayer or roleplaying... well, YMMV.

I would call it an MMORPG, but I forget what the other M stands for...hmm...Well, anyway, it's online, sometimes to my misfortune (!--Like today!). It's really great. I just got such a great deal on my Dunelizard I now have a Scyk and a DUnelizard. And a very slow computer that Norton Antivirus is trying to take over so I can't play it and the small chance I had to today ended because of the Scylla server shutdown on Galaxies' part.

SWG is an MMORPG in the same sense that WoW, Guild Wars, and company are. Which means... not really.
It's another bland, boring, un-fun clone in the genre that tries to cash in on the popularity of an existing franchise while at the same time providing practically nothing in terms of actual game experience. Kind of like LOTRO will be.
Yeah. Let's not go into my crushing dissapointment with MMORPG's as a whole. :p

Did you happen to be one of the people caught up with the whole NGE upgrade? :D (although I'm also serious, too)
I think it's great. Now the net is slow, though, so I can't use it very well, but it's the best game I've ever played. And I know a few good games. ;)
Although...you DO have to pay for this.

MMORPGs, like forums, are only as good as the people who play them with you... i tried SWG, but unfortunately did not know many others who played, so i never warmed up to it... but it is a pretty cool game

I didn't know anyone, at first. But, being an entertainer, you get invited to groups quite often. I joined the Apocalypse guild as well, allowing me to meet quite a few more people.
