Fëanor would take whatever unlucky she-elf he hit on home to Formenos, to show her stuff he did and brag about himself. Beren would take his date on a picnic, look distracted a lot, and talk about his ex. Eärendil would take her to some waterfront bar.

However, once in the car all he does is brag and she gets off on the highway and walks home before they even get to the resturant.

Beren took Luthien dancing, but after all those flowers sprouted up where Luthien had danced they threw them out. I imagine Beren as a pizza guy. They went out for pizza afterwards and he dared Luthien to eat the anchovies- which, it turns out, is why Thingol didn't like him.
