I know this might sound silly to those who have memorized the books, but is there a book with all the great LOTR lines in it? I'd just like to know just in case I need a good quote quickly, which I know would be in Tolkien ;)

PS: Anyone know if there's a Dune Quotebook

There's a great book for that and it's called 'The Lord of the Rings'. It has all the LoTR-quotes you can possibly need. ;)

But frankly, I've never heard of any quote-book for any book, or any author.

maybe you should read LoTR again and write down all of the good quotes! ;)

Well, the best thing for you is probably the very detailed index in the back of the ROTK... it even categorizes poems in two different ways.

I don't think you'll find a quote book, but I've seen lots of Tolkien sites with hundreds of quotes. maybe you should check that out?

you could just start a seperate thread here and ask people to post good ones

That's a good idee. I think you should do that.

Don't worry about it- I don't need the quotes right now. I'll just look on the web or in my books. Thanks!
