What happened last night

Here's the story. My week was messed up, I wanted to have a little fun so I played with the header a little, nothing big. Well, you know how Ryan can get carried away, and he did. I had to unadmin him, but I readmined him because I figured out a better way to deal with it. The guy was a little over the edge and I didn't want to get on his bad side. He banned Jae and Greg, then unadmined himself cause he was afraid he'd go through on the rest of his dream and unadmin Ben and me. Anyways, I came on this morning and fixed the situation with Greg and Jae. Everythings back to normal, and Ryan's on self proclaimed probation for a little while.

After Tater and Ryan played with the header, I talked to both of them at the sametime. Well, I'm glad everything is back to normal... or what passes for normal around here :P. I applaud Ryan's decision. I also implore Greg and Jae to try not to start any trouble if at all possible and try to keep the posts PG rated... ;)

All I know is that I was completely uninvolved in saving ENTMOOT. Oh, I also know that it made bmilder feel safe knowing that I was an emergency admin. (He didn't realize that I had no idea what I was doing.)

Sorry to burst your bubble, guys, but...

Even if bmilder had lost admin status, because he's the board creator he still has admin powers. I would know - when I first started my board I accidentally un-admin'd myself, but I still had the ability to re-admin myself afterward.

So that makes this entire discussion moot. (Or rather, Entmoot. I know, my puns suck.)

well I looked at it again--read the whole thing--and this is what happened:

After we took over, then Ryan (he must have been very busy that night) joined our conspiracy for a while, and we almost got to the moon, but a bunch of rowdy little boys (celeborn, greg, jae, darthnut, etc.) started in on it and basically ruined it, so it had to be closed. How sad. But it was a valiant attempt.

It was just one of those nights when a lot of people were online at once....all hanging out, using ICQ and AIM, plotting and being mischievous . Back then Ben was extremely protective of the board and knowing this the admins/mods couldn't help themselves from messing with the board.....changing colors, banning people, trying to take over. That was one of the things that happened that night. The other was going on in the board by me, Elanor, and Ryan (at least that is how Elanor remembered it....but now that she has mentioned Celeborn, I think it was him.) Anyhoo, we shaped the one worder to our liking. We were bored (as you can see we weren't the only ones) and decided to work together on a storyline. It was just a coinsidence that Ryan was trying to take over the board at the same time. :p

It was all great entertainment. :)
