I haven't read them, but the name Prydain immediately intrigued me. Tell us more Manveru!

Nice to see another Canuck on the board. :D I'm actually a Canuck, disguised as a Swede. ;)

theyre really good, more of a younger age book, but its one of those books that appeal to adults as well as kids, (ie, harry potter, chronicles of narnia, the hobbit). They are about a boy named Taran whose parents were killed soon after he was born but he was taken in by an old enchanter, named Dalben and an old warrior named Coll. He grew up on the farm of Caer Dalben. There are 5 books, they describe Taran going from being a boy, to becoming a man. You can really see how he matures because in the first book his mind is so full of ideas of being a hero, but by the 5th he is taking on major responsiblities. Other characters include the princess Eilonwy, the would-be bard Fflewddur Flam, Prince Gwydion, Gurgi, as well as the evil enchantress Achren, and Arawn the Death Lord. My favourite book is the High King. but ya you should definatly read them
