Maybe we could have a hobbit discussion project after the LotR one has finished.

why wait till that ones done when we could do it now. After all I am correct in assuming that this thread is here to help think of ideas to kepp the board-going right? If I am wrong please tell me. So I think it would be cool if we had multiple projects going onat the same time. So maybe new members who like Hobbit more could have their own project. I have the free time to spare to head up the thing if no one else wants too. :) I LOVE THE MOOT! Everyone is so nice and considerate and they respect others ideas. Alot of boards dont so here are some snaps for you Entmoot.

I haven't read The Hobbit yet; still have to buy the book, but I was just googling "hobbit" and found this which some of you might find interesting:

It was started last year here (http://entmoot.tolkientrail.com/showthread.php?t=10848) but it died out slowly. Probably because most people wanted to wait with it until the LoTR chapter discussion was finished. (Currently we're on the chapter "Siege of Gondor" over there).

Is anybody interested in doing this now? What happened to all the people who used to frequent the boards?

Well, it's been 24 hours and nobody responded. I guess I'm not wanted. I'll never bother you again.

Hey, 24 hours is very short, especially in a weekend when there's a lot less people on line. So no need to run away in a huf so suddenly. And this is the Entmoot, we take our sweet time to respond, hoom. ;)

So, what about that idea with the chapter by chapter discussion project?

With the Hobbit film coming out in the next year or so, it would certainly help people with remembering it and such. And possibly get more people interested in actually seeing the film if they realise how awesome the book is. :D
