If you were able to (temporarily, or even permanently) reside in
Middle Earth, what would be the wittiest, coolest (serious or humorous) thing/s that you’d most enjoy getting up to, or doing there in your view.

For one, being an "embedded" reporter. The Nirnaeth might be a tad dangerous (best hang out with the Gondolodrim), but especially neat would be near Tulkas (but not too near) during the War of Wrath, and with the Rohirrim at Minas Tirith
(note to self, watch out for mounted pteradactyls). And how about reporting LIVE with some cameramen on the Ered Lomin as Feanor charges up the Firth of Drengist?
Taping Luthien in the Forest of Neldoreth would be a show-stopper, but not too sure Beren would approve.:D

How about a Mike Wallace type interview with Saruman in Orthanc?

I suppose pipeweed is a lot healthier than the stuff people smoke today. But you've given me an idea. If I could go to Middle-earth I'd bug Gandalf until he teaches me to make fireworks just as cool as his. :)
