very tough...

i've reread the silmarillion and lotr more than any other, so they'd have to be up top

but i have a few others that i revisit very often (three or more times ;) )

various short stories by oscar wilde, poe and lovecraft
roger zelazny's lord of light and jack of shadows
stephen king's pet sematary
jd salinger's catcher in the rye
anthony burgess' a clockwork orange
to kill a mockingbird by harper lee

currently i'm reading the dune books again and enjoying them very much

told ya it was tough :p

um, besides tolkien's works, i'd say:
any of Tamora Pierce's books
Jennifer Roberson's Sword Dancer books
King of the Wind by Margaret Henry
and
Black Beauty by....someone... :p

Suilad, mellon,

It's probably a tie between the Bible
and the Lord of the Rings.

Probably. Doesn't mean it is, just probably.
B/C, really, the Bible is much more encouraging
and is much richer than Lord of the Rings,
but not by much.

So therefore, having gone and said this,
wasted your precioussss time,
I like both Lord of the Rings and the Bible,
Bible being first and Lord of the Rings being second.

Namarie,

hahaha well i must disagree, the encouragement on the Bible is not of the healthy variety in my opinion, if you want something that is truly encouraging i would try Nietszche, any of his ideas are a great philosophical read, and he is very crafty in the writing itself....
Lord of the Rings it is:D followed closely by A Game of Thrones

A Game of Thrones by George R R Martin?
Yup.

*Agrees with Millane* I'm not sure whether to rank Tolkien or Martin nr 1, so who's on the top varies.
