I dont really know if anyone is going to bothered enough to take this up, but here we go anyways. I was glancing through the unwritten book thread and i thought why dont we make a collective new story for our selves. ( Or a series of them ). Anyways, this is how it works, each new poster writes a fiuther paragraph to the person who just posted, hence creating a huge story, combining all the posters of Entmoot. Since there are many ideas, ill start it off using a fairly open idea and let ya'all progress on it... ( Short and sweet in other words lol )
Over the years past things are still yet to sercum to change, Elves still florish, Men still walk, others stay hidden, and, Evil still dwells....

Although this is a more serious thread, it reminds me of the "three worder" thread. we'll see how it goes.

*ponders* Maybe it's better suited for the Writer Workshop but since SGH left it, I'll leave it.

Some things lend themselves well to being done 'by committee'. I just doubt that story-telling is one of them. I think the end result would just be chaos... because any one person could pretty much derail the effort.
I think telling a story has to start with the vision of a single author. Perhaps others can augment it - and make improvements... but to actually generate a story this way - I just don't think anyone would end up 'satisfied' with the end result.
Just my opinion. Nice try though. :) And maybe I'll just set myself to writing some of my favorite 'Unwritten Books' one day - but probably hard until my kids are raised... so look for it in another 15-20 years or so! :D

I think you're right, Valandil. I'll make a note to check back when your kids finish college...;)
